Pho Rico is perfectly located in Seochon, making it super accessible for anyone visiting the area. It’s also convenient for students from Baewha Women's University. You’ll find it in Sajik-dong, not too far from Gyeongbokgung Station.

When I first arrived at Pho Rico, I was pleasantly surprised. The exterior captures the essence of Vietnam so well. It felt like a little slice of Vietnam right here in Seochon!

넴 2pcs는 이렇게 두조각씩 짤라서 나옵니다. ㅋㅋㅋ 3명이니까 4개 시켜야지 하고 4개 시켰다가 당황... ㅋㅋㅋ 근데 바삭바삭하고 맛이 좋았습니다. 생각보다 만족
We started with the nem, which came neatly cut into two pieces. It was crispy and delicious, a perfect appetizer.

짜조도 2pcs이지만 이렇게 조각내서 나오니까 인원수에 맞추실 필요 없어요 ㅋㅋㅋ 넴이랑은 또 다른 맛이에요. 맛이 좋습니다. ^^
Next, we tried the cha gio. Also served in two pieces, it had a different taste from the nem and was equally tasty.
- 정통 소고기 모듬 쌀국수, Traditional Mixed Beef Pho
기대를 엄청했습니다. 일단 비주얼부터 마음에 쏙 듭니다. 다양한 부위의 소고기들이 더할나위 없이 완벽한 모습이죠.
다만, 처음에 쌀국수면으로 주문했는데 주문실수로 라면이 왔습니다. ㅠㅠ 속상했지만, 그냥 먹었습니다. ㅋㅋㅋ 다음번에 가서 쌀국수로 먹어보면 되죠 뭐 ㅋㅋㅋ
절반쯤 먹고 나서 매콤한 양념장을 넣고 먹었습니다. 생각보다 매운 정도가 강하니 조금씩 넣으시길 추천합니다 ^^
아 그리고 고수는 달라고 하셔야 됩니다. 처음에는 빠져있어요.
The highlight of our meal was the traditional mixed beef pho. The variety of beef cuts looked perfect. Though there was a mix-up with our order (we got ramen noodles instead of rice noodles), it was still delicious. Next time, we’ll make sure to get the rice noodles!
Halfway through, we added some spicy sauce. It’s pretty potent, so add it gradually. And don’t forget to ask for cilantro if you like it—it’s not included by default.

서두에 말씀드린대로, 포 리코(Pho rico)는 곧 서촌 사직동에서 꽤나 인기있는 식당 중 하나가 될 것 같습니다. 분위기도 베트남 느낌이 잘 느껴집니다. 무엇보다 맛이 너무 좋습니다. 면도 선택가능한게 꽤나 인상적이에요.

As I mentioned earlier, Pho Rico is poised to become a popular spot in Sajik-dong, Seochon. The Vietnamese atmosphere and the delicious food make it a great choice. Plus, the option to choose your noodles is a nice touch.
I’m definitely going back soon to try other dishes and, of course, to have the pho with rice noodles. Highly recommended!
