이천 평양냉면 전문점 능라면옥의 내부 모습은 꽤 깔끔합니다. 벽에 붙어있는 여러 상패들을 보니 사장님께서 노래도 많이 부르시고 수상도 많이 하신 것 같아요. ㅋㅋ 셀프바도 있고, 좌석이 꽤 많이 있는 모습입니다.
The interior of Neungna Myeonok is quite tidy. Judging by the numerous plaques on the walls, it seems the owner is quite the singer and has won many awards, haha. There's also a self-serve bar, and plenty of seating is available.
특이한 점은 평양냉면 식당임에도 다양한 메뉴가 있었다는 점입니다. 물론 계절메뉴이긴 해서 사실상 냉면 + 만두가 전부인 듯 해요. 별다른 이슈가 없다면 냉면을 드시게 될 것 같아요.

온육수도 뜨끈하니 맛있었고, 밑반찬은 심플합니다. 역시 평양냉면집은 깔끔한 것이 최고예요.

The half-and-half dumplings arrived quickly and exceeded my expectations. They were incredibly delicious. I regretted not ordering two servings as my former girlfriend and I devoured them, haha.
비주얼은 그렇게 엄청나게 특이하지는 않지만, 내용물이 엄청납니다. 진짜 맛있습니다. 냉면 없이도 만두만 먹어도 될 것 같아요.
Although the visual presentation wasn't particularly unique, the filling was outstanding. Honestly, the dumplings were so good that I could eat them without the noodles.

이천 평양냉면 전문점 능라면옥의 평양냉면은 조금 특이합니다. 일단 곱빼기인점 감안하시고 보시구요. ㅋㅋㅋ 면의 색깔이 하얗습니다. 그렇다고 소면같은 질감은 아닌데, 칡냉면같은 류의 질김도 없습니다. 어느정도 탱탱한 식감이 특이했습니다.
The Pyongyang cold noodles at Neungna Myeonok were a bit unusual. Note that I ordered a large size, haha. The noodles were white, not like the texture of thin noodles, but not as chewy as arrowroot noodles either. They had a unique, slightly firm texture.
메뉴판을 다시 보니, 감자전분으로 만드는 면이라고 합니다. 경험해보지 못한 독특함이었어요. 물론 시원한 것은 말할 것도 없고, 여느 평양냉면들과 달리 소고기 편육이 아니라 초계국수처럼 닭고기가 올라가 있는 것도 특이했습니다.
Upon checking the menu again, I noticed the noodles are made from potato starch. It was a unique experience. Additionally, unlike other Pyongyang cold noodles that come with beef slices, this dish had chicken, similar to chogyeguksu, which was quite interesting.

솔직히 평양냉면은 기존에 유명한 식당들에서 맛본 것들과는 결이 살짝 달랐습니다. 슴슴하다는 것 외에는 거의 다른 음식이라고 봐도 될 것 같아요. 육수나, 고명, 면 모든것이 새로웠습니다. 어색함에서 비롯된 것이겠죠?
Honestly, the Pyongyang cold noodles here were quite different from the famous ones I've tried before. Apart from being bland, everything else felt like a different dish. The broth, garnishes, and noodles were all new to me. Maybe it's because of the unfamiliarity?
그럼에도 불구하고, 남쪽으로 캠핑 떠날 때 경로에 이 식당이 있다면, 다시금 방문하고자 합니다. 능라면옥도 먹어볼 거구요.
Nevertheless, if I'm heading south for camping and this restaurant is on my route, I would visit again to try the Neungna cold noodles.
